Discussion Board: The discussion forum, found in
Folio/GoView labeled as "Discussion Forum", will be the primary
means of communicating course content, questions and answers, and class
activities.
Folio E-mail: Folio offers e-mail and this
will be used primarily for personal communications. As explained in the
syllabus, please don't use my Georgia Southern e-mail to contact me unless
Folio/GoView is non-functional.
Supplemental Chats: Note that officially
EDUR 7130 is to be
taught asynchronously, and the Discussion Board and e-mail will allow for
that asynchronous communication. However, for those who find live chats
beneficial, several supplemental, optional, chats may be held weekly.
The purpose of these chats is to answer any questions you may have about
course-related material and to provide additional examples and practice work
on more difficult concepts. My intention is to record all chats so those unable to attend can review each chat
if desired.
